Re: Scharnhorst in 3D

Hello RF.

Sorry but, for the moment, the Scharnhorst is on stand by due to a full charge of work and an urgent demand for a profile.

As soon a spossible, i'll go on with the battleship.
Half back to finish, shadowing and 3D before adding the camo....

Re: Bismarck reconstitution

So, if I have well understood your remarks, here are the detaisl I have to correct :

1/ Radar directors to rotate 90° (has someone a face view??)

2/ Bismarck to low in water (?)

3/ Water column

4/ Superstructure lighter

5/ Guns elevation (What was the fire angle??)

Have I forgotten something????

Concerning the stripes, i've based my work on these two files : http://www.bismarck-class.dk/bismarck/paint_schemes/pictures/1941rhe...

Re: Bismarck reconstitution

Yes. I feel bad you are getting constructive criticism here... those are very accurate depictions of both Bismarck and Hood. Thanks Legend. I always spent a lot of time to find a lot of pictures to have a maximum of details. According to me, details are the most important to obtain a realistic prof...

Re: Bismarck reconstitution

The rendering of the ship itself is very good, but: 1. As mentioned, the rangefinder cupulas would be pointing at the target. 2. When the main battery fired, there is much more smoke than that, and it would blot out a good part of the ship. 3. The water column from a miss is opaque. You really can'...
