Re: KGV and PoW GAR during Op. Rheinubung

Hello Northcape, You make a very good point. Competent at colour schemes, but he has gone completely overboard since he decided to beat Cernuschi at his game of making up fantasies about Royal Navy conspiracies. The captions Eine der letzten Granaten der "Hood", die als Weitschüsse in die See fuhre...

Re: Bismarck firing procedures at DS

Hello everybody, now it is clear what Erminio Bagnasco did, he just translated the Baron Mullenheim Rechberg second edition book, written in English Language. Here the caption in English from that book confirming both Bagnasco and my way to see the NH69731 photo, just as it is correctly captioned i...

Re: KGV and PoW GAR during Op. Rheinubung

Hello Antonio, for a competent person, ... having had it on his hands years ago, So what are you hiding? I don't think that A refers to himself, since he mentions a "competent person". A competent person for sure knows how to (or how not to) interpret historical data like photo captions, which A cl...

Re: Bismarck firing procedures at DS

Re photographic image NH 69731 Battle of the Denmark Strait, 24 May 1941 ..... The two shell splashes which appear on the right side of the image do not interrupt the horizon line. Therefore, from the observer/photographer's point of view, fall of shot arguably must have been either upon the horizo...

Re: Bismarck firing procedures at DS

The "due tolerances" in absolute time (e.g. UTC): some minutes The "due tolerances" in relative time (e.g. starting with the battle): one minute at minimum. Again, the sentence has to read correctly "Here the caption in English from that book that is identical with both Bagnasco and my way to see th...

But then that's a comedy. It's not real life.
But this is all what A&A are about. Living in a fantasy world / parallel universe, imagined from third-rate war stories and TV movies. That is not really anything new.

Hello everybody, PoW last shell in local control.jpg Who wants to like to read the word HOOD on the above caption ? The word HOOD is NOT written there. Who is not able to realize that this photo is into the film too ? … and the film starts after 06:03 battle time Who is not able to realize that Bis...

Re: Bismarck firing procedures at DS

Hello Alberto, Once again you make the mistake of thinking what you can see in the frame is all that happened . You can't consider that there might be more cartridge cases on the deck or waiting to be dropped out of the turrets. Like Antonio, when you can see only a single shell splash in the frame...

Re: Bismarck firing procedures at DS

Hello everybody, PG precise own track is available on her battle map. PoW and Hood own tracks are available on PoW precise battle maps ( several ). Bismarck track can be determined by her position at the battle start ( NH 69722 at 05:55 ) and her position after 06:03 and onward from the photos and ...

Re: Bismarck firing procedures at DS

Hello everybody, @ Alberto Virtuani, sometimes I ask myself why you are keep on spending time with such ignorant and incompetent persons like the ones writing here above. Here, just like in other threads they have only one hidden agenda, ... to refute every possible change of what was declared duri...

Re: Bismarck firing procedures at DS

Hello everybody, Q.E.D. being totally ignorant about the battle and the related documents, this hooligan is not even aware of Lutjens' sent message (I would say a most official evidence....) stating that Bismarck expended 93 shells during the battle. Even his fellow denier says this is factual info...

Re: Otto Ulli Signal?

"Otto" stands for "O" in the german morse code. "Ulli" is a short version of the name "Ullrich", which stands for "U" in the morse code. So it maybe refers to the abbreviation "OU" - and for whatever "OU" stands for, would be the next question :)

Re: Bismarck firing procedures at DS

So what german documents are there to deduce number and timing of shells of Bismarck? This would only be in the gunnery report of Bismarck. Do you have this? Or do you believe that somebody on PE did the counting and timing for Bismarck gunnery? If so, please provide the info. Otherwise, please spar...

Re: Bismarck firing procedures at DS

The PG film + photos show that after 6:03 she fired several salvos (the timing is given by associating PG track with Bismarck position, as done by Antonio in his reconstruction, when Mr.Wadinga will be able to propose a different credible track for the German ships, showing us when the film and the...
