Nice photo mate.
KGV then went back to Russia with PQ15 days later and accidentally sank Punjabi when the destroyer strayed into the battleships path in dense fog

Re: The Brits want out of the EU
I voted to leave. The whole EU is a corrupt, corporate racket designed to slowly erode nation state sovereignty and identity. Freedom of movement is a joke and the sooner its scrapped the better. Why do you think the EU is allowing these economic migrants to flood Europe? (even EU admits the majorit...

Re: May 24 1941 - Tirpitz v Prince of Wales
Believe it or not, PoW gave as good as she got against Bismarck. I'm talking about the bow hit that deprived Lutjens of almost 1000 tons of fuel oil. Leach was a good Captain so was Karl Topp. A shoot out would result in damage to both ships, neither would find it easy to actually sink the other BUT...

Re: Explosion of shells
At Dogger Bank, Seydlitz clocked Lion with a hit that ricocheted off the water and pierced the 5 inch aft armour but the shell failed to explode suggesting that this was a defective shell.
This was the hit that caused Lion Dynamo's to become flooded

Re: Sports Cars someone?
I'm getting shot of my 53 plate MG ZR (basically a souped up Rover 25) this Friday and I'm getting a BMW 318 (2nd hand) The BMW has a 2 litre engine and a leather interior. Whilst car shopping at the weekend, I also saw a BMW M3 (4 litre V8) but sadly it was a little out of my price range :( and I d...

Re: Its your vote
I voted no.
I dont like Clegg and the Lib Dems and they are the driving force behind this.
I'd rather keep the system we have (not that it matters as up here in my native Northumberland, my area has always been a safe conservative seat)

Royal Wedding and ladies hats
Who watched the Royal Wedding on the 29th? I did - it was a great day for Britain (not that I'm a die hard royalist) but Wills and Kate are a nice couple. But what was with all those hideous hats the women were wearing? If Victoria Beckham had bent over she would have stabbed herself http://www.star...

Re: SMS Moltke (1910)
Agincourt was a battleship............just not one of Jellicoe's better ones. She packed 14 main guns in 7 turrets (a dreadnought record) but the British 12 inch wasnt the equal of the German 12 inch She would have been more susceptible to turret hits and we know what chaos that caused with the Brit...

Re: Marines in the Pacific vs Waffen SS
Hi Brad.
How long is a piece of string?
It depends, where does the engagement take place?
How many men does each side have?
What weapons/support do they have ? (US Air planes or Tiger Tanks)
