Hi everyone, I have had some enhancements done of my photo Victorious torpedo hits Bismarck and wanted to share them with you all. We talked about the white mark on the horizon indicated with the pencil. The enhancement clearly shows rays of light emitted from this object. My opinion is the object is too large to be a ship signalling aircraft, but more resembles a flash from a large gun. It was mentioned that it could be the Prince of Wales firing at a range of 15 km/miles. I am just curious to know if the Bismarck was returning fire? These enhancements were done from taking a photo of the image with an iPad and then emailed to a forensic team. I think if the original photo was scanned by them the quality would have been better

Unlikely that Bismarck would be firing its main armament at POW whilst manoeuvring to avoid torpedoes.
