I was wondering about the 2 x 6m antenna on Scharnhorst's aft mount and Scheer and Lützow, since the 2x6m antenna appeared at around the same time as the large 3x6m antenna.

The 2x6 m antennas were common mode.
Hallo Dave,
In the N.V.K. Chronik is a sketch of the 2 x 6m Calais antenna for FuMO 1 ,2 and 25. And it shows seperate S and E for Transmit and Receive. I understand, that those antennas were earlier than the 2x6m FuMO 26 on Scharnhorst, Scheer and Lützow. Where did you find, that the latter were common mode?

Hallo Thorsten
Thank you, and at what date was this rcorded? I thought, that this was reported in early 1941. Did Gneisenau have a TS6 this early?

Best regards,
Frank

Most excellent!
Thank you Thorsten!
So the 28.7 km tracking range on Scharnhorst were done using the new TS6 diodes. But because of a wrong cooling installation the performance of the new sender was downgraded to the performance of the old sender (with TS1?). This would indicate, that 28.7km were also expected of a TS1 equipped FuMG 39 2x4m.
Does this make sense or "am I on the woodway"?
