I thought Singapore was pretty cool. By contrast, Beijing sucked (and I got robbed there).

Come on yellowtail, we don't have such burgeoise capitalist activities in a socialist paradise like the Peoples Republic of China. We all know that there is no crime in such a perfect society. Mao himself said so.

In China people`s interest is the look for happiness, not earthly possessions. Everything there goes in that direction, that`s why they want the Spratley Islands, for ethereal joy.

Sounds rather like the socialist or the ''peoples'' line Karl. The reality is that the Chinese are as possessive and materialistic as anybody else, indeed the Chinese who work in free enterprise economies tend to do very well out of it.
