A US representative at the Hiroshima Memorial

Post by Karl Heidenreich »

It seems that the Obama administration is keen to share the populist leftist belief that the Atomic Bombings were unjustified and decided to send the US Ambassador to the Hiroshima 65th Memorial:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/au ... hima-japan

I imagine the ambasador didn't refer to that small detail, a nuisance only, that the Japanese started the war by attacking Pearl, or that thousands of Americans died in the Death March in Philipines, or those thousands of civilians killed by the IJA at Manila... or hundreds of thousands murdered at Nanking. I imagine Obama (or his dad) didn't flew an Avenger and was shot down by the Japanese or a Phantom at Vietnam or a F 18 over Iraq... Maybe he was at a peace rally in some university campus with his leftist pals...

I wonder if next year, 2011 (70 years from the Tora Tora Tora attack), he will organize a special memorial to those that died at Pearl or at the Death March? I wonder if at the Hiroshima Memorial he intructed his ambasador to say some remembrance words for those murdered at Nanking, or to the thousands of Marine casualties at Iwo Jima or the pilots of Enterprise, Yorktown and Hornet that died at Midway? Maybe he can attend, next year, to the Beerhall Putsch nazi remembrance at Munich with some skin heads, that will be the "political correct" thing to do.

It seems that the US, with this administration, has decided the road of decline already, like Rome under Nero or Comodus. What at shame... who will lead the world then: the russians? I prefer them than the chinese.

What is the world that my sons will live in?

Gene Tibbets, whose deceased father, Brig Gen Paul Tibbets, piloted the bomber, told Fox News: "It's making the Japanese look like they're the poor people, like they didn't do anything. They hit Pearl Harbor, they struck us. We didn't slaughter the Japanese. We stopped the war."

Hear, Hear!

This nation is suffering under the marxist/socialistic policies of obama. His attitudes and policies are leading to its decline and he gets a pass from the media. The pc crap that walks the land is allowing a mosque/cultural center to be built two blocks away from the WTC site. I'm sure we will see a japanese shinto temple/cultural center being built on Ford Island directly adjacent to the Arizona Memorial! obama may not have any direct hand in the decision to let the mosque be built, its his attitudes and policies that foster the environment for allowing it!

You're drawing that conclusion, because of representative the US gov't will be there? Is it inappropriate for the US Ambassador to Japan - is that who it is? - to attend this event, in Japan?

How so?
That's easy:

China casualites at WWII by the Japanese:

4,000,000 military deaths
16,000,000 civilian deaths (including women and children, some 267% more than the jews killed by the nazis)

Korean casualties at WWII by the Japanese:
533,000 civilian deaths

India:
1,500,000 civilian deaths

United States:
1,760 civilians killed (at the Pacific)
354,523 US military casualties which of them we have:
Navy: 36,950 killed
US Marine Corps: 19,733

Great Britain:
52,000 military killed... 12,000 in captivity (nice guys ehhh?)

Plus 17,100 Australians, 9,400 Dutch (8,500 in captivity) etc. etc. etc.

I think that, in memory of those MILLIONS that died because of Japanese expansionism, that is hardly mentioned by the liberal bleeding hearts, the least decent thing Obama and his leftist pals can do is to restrain themselves of sending an ambasador to honour any Japanese casualty, even in the name of the suicidal self proclaim pacifist (which is not) doctrine.

Good night!

Oops.... I forgot to mention that, during the Nangking rape the IJA demanded and captured 200,000 women to serve as prostitutes for their soldiers. For us who have a mother, a wife and daughters there can be no more hideous crime than that. Where is the US ambassador at these victims' memorial? Where? Where is Obama's respect to them? Where?

Except that it is always best to remember who started these wars. That includes WW1 as well as WW2.
