Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Post by Karl Heidenreich »

I wish all forum members a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. That 2012 will be a much better year than 2011, less economical crisis, less violence, more justice and that the islamic comunist Obama is defeated for the sake of Freedom in the US and the world.

My best wishes to all!!!

My best wishes too.

My Christmas wish list starts with the end of the Euro, restoration of the Deutschmark and in Britain that we finally get that promised referendum on EU membership.

And of course I hope that the England cricket team stay at No. 1 where they belong and beat both the West Indies and then South Africa next summer.

RF,

And let's remember that it is Merry CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR. It is NOT the political correct and social inclusive "Happy Holidays" . I share your wishes to see the EU broken too.

You may be amused by the following holiday greeting I received from a waggish Aussie friend -

quote -

Please accept with no obligation , implied or implicit , my best wishes for
an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress,
non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the summer solstice holiday
practised with the most enjoyable traditions of religious persuasion or
secular practices of your choice with respect for the religious/secular
persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practise
religious or secular traditions at all .

I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically
uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar
year 2012 , but not without due respect for the calendar of choice of other
cultures whose contributions to society have helped make our country great
(not to imply that South Africe is necessarily greater than any other
country ) and without regard to the race, creed, colour, age, physical
ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee .

By accepting this greeting, you are accepting these terms :

This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely
transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no
promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for her/ him
or others and is void where prohibited by law, and is revocable at the sole
discretion of the wisher. The wish is warranted to perform as expected
within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year or
until the issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher .

Best Regards ( without prejudice )

Now that Cheetah died it seemed that the Democrat Party only have one alternative: Obama all the way.

Their beating a dead (donkey) then. Any of the Republican front runners (except for R Paul) are better and can beat Obama in the electorial college. A few key states (especially PA)and he can't win reelection. We absolutely must get somebody else. He's repeating all the mistakes of the past and driving the economy into the ground. See here:

I'm delighted to see Rick Santorium surge.

And remember Jimmy Carter in 1980. Almost unopposed in the Democratic Party - except for Ted Kennedy who was sunk by lousy timing and a certain motor car accident - and of course the British Labour Party in 2010.
The lesson is - if your leader is a liability, do you want your party on a suicide mission? Surely it would be better to have alternative Democrats in the early primaries to see whether Obama is any more electable than Johnson was in 1968.

The Republicans need to win in California, not just Pennsylvania or New Jersey. Indeed states like Vermont and Iowa, not in themselves significant in the Electoral College, have over the last 20 years have swung from solidly Republican to safe Democrat. Even Arizona is becoming less safe for the Republicans. A narrowing electoral base does make it more difficult to win.

The republican with the best chance to win CA or split the electorial votes there is Romney. Romney is also a safe bet in AZ and NV. Romney is more likely to win electorial votes in New England than any other republican front runner. Romney is very dangerous to Obama.
