I can't say enough about the "first unread post" feature. This site is much easier for me to monitor than any of the others I frequent and it's because of that feature.

Hello,

I have just enabled the option to upload your own avatars from your computers. You just have to go to the User Control Panel to do that. But don't abuse this feature by uploading ofensive images or you will have this privilege disabled. Of course there is no problem using naval, military related avatars, or a photo of yourself.

Regarding polls, I'm considering allowing certain senior users (with more that 250 posts) the ability to post polls here in the forum. Contact me or write your request here if you are interested, and I will enable that option for you. Again, don't abuse the poll feature with nonsense questions. Polls have to be well thought.

That's all for now.

Thank you Jose.

With respect to the PM you sent to me last Friday, I have checked my E-Mails as you refer, if any ''bounced back'' messages are still available can they be reforwarded?

I have been away from the site for a couple of months, is that why the ''bounce back'' has happened?

RF, the e-mail address you are using here in the forum is not working (Have you been getting any e-mails lately?). When a topic notification is sent to your e-mail account everytime someone replies to any of your messages it bounces back to me. So, you either fix that or change e-mail.

I am puzzled by the third sentence of your above post. I am not aware of doing anything wrong, I had thought this problem was beyond my control and solution.

I think he is saying there are two ways you can fix the problem:
1) turn notifications off
2) change the email address the board sends the notifications to.

It may be that if you just reenter your current email address that will be enough.

Good Morning I have a question -
At the bottom of the page it shows how many are on line , when I go on line my name comes up , but many times I see;
Google - Bot then I see Yahoo - Bot and Mr MSN - Bot -
That this mean that Mr Bot is on line through yahoo / Msn and google at the same time ?

No Enrique. Bot is short for "robot". Is the generic name given to a process connectiong to a web site to download its contents, indexing it allowing to be searchable by any of the search services, as yahoo, google, etc...

Its also a somewhat unfortunate shorthand in England - I will leave the rest to the imagination.

I was looking that on October last year there were 120 visitors hiting at the same time the forum. Was it because a particular event, TV show or something?
