Forum Rules and Guidelines

In addition to the terms you must agree when you register for this forum the following rules and guidelines apply:

1. No insults are tolerated. Extremist, inappropriate messages such as personal attacks on other Forum participants, or anything else the moderator considers spam, will be deleted immediately. Reiterative misconduct might result in your posting rights being lost and your account deleted.

2. Although it is not required and you may use a nickname, using your real name as username is very much appreciated. Of course the use of false identities is not allowed.

3. Search through previous forum messages and/or use the forum search engine before you post a question that might have been previously discussed.

4. When posting a message use short titles and try to avoid capital letters unless it is necessary. It's not required to be a master in the English language but watch your spelling.

5. Keep your messages on topic under their respective forum sections.

6. Threads of political content are not allowed anywhere in the forum except within the "Off Topic" section. Still if political discussions get hot there, messages may be deleted without previous notice.

7. Users can NOT edit or modify their own messages after they have been responded to by others. If no one has yet responded, then it is OK. Review your messages as soon as you post them and make any corrections BEFORE anyone replies.

8. Internet Trolls have no place in this forum. Learn more about trolls here.

9. Always use your common sense.

User Ranks

    - Junior Member: A registered user who has posted less than 20 messages.
    - Member: A registered user with at least 20 posts in the forum.
    - Senior Member: A registered user with at least 250 posts in the forum.
    - Supporter: A registered user who has either contributed with a monetary donation or valuable material to the website.
    - Contributor: A registered user who regularly contributes with monetary donations or valuable material to the website.
    - Moderator: A registered user chosen by the Administrator to moderate a particular forum.
    - Banned: A registered user who has been temporarily or permanently banned from the forum.

Avatars

Avatars are the small images that appear above your username when you post a message (see mine on the upper right). To be allowed to use an avatar, users must have posted at least 20 messages in the forum.

To all users: This is just to let you know that the forum rules have been updated and I expect everyone to follow them. Take a couple of minutes to read the previous post.
