Thanks for the replies!

I didn't know that the Prinz Eitel Friedrich was further along in construction, but if so it would be the one we should include. I'm limiting it to one of these in my mind, otherwise we'll need another Hood class to balance it, and that's getting a little too far out there in the 'hypothetical' area.

Good point about fire control playing as large or larger a part as actual range.

I was aware that the Germans considered the 30.5 cm to be roughly as good as the 13.5" British, but not aware that the range was quite as good. Thanks for the info...
