I took some time and collected as many photo's I could find of the Scharnhorst, there are some pictures I have left out because they are near duplicates of others pictures or show the same scene.

This is a very good montage of pictures. An excellent library of shots. Once again thanks for these posts Kyler.

One thing that has always bemused me is the Gothic style of lettering shown with the KM ships names, often at first sight appearing almost indecipherable, of which a good example is shown above.

I found this flickr account, the gentleman who posted the pictures grandfather served on the Scharnhorst during WW2.

It doesn't contain a lot of pictures, but most are really good. I'll try to put up the pictures later. Though here is the link during the mean time.
