HMS Noontide

Post by gandolfi »

Hi,

I thought some of you might like to see an image of HMS Noontide, a support vessel of the 1930's, and minesweeper of WW2. These little ships generally get overshadowed by their more heavily armed, greater displacement sisters.

Enjoy - (Sorry, can't figure out how to place an image in the post.)

Most often unsung, but very hardworking vessels...

Ships in the background - the back end of HMS Courageous and the destroyer is HMS Beagle (H30).
