Isn't there also a Bismarck in Idaho?

Would KM Bismarck have been renamed USS Idaho?

I've searched and can't find a Bismarck in Idaho. There is an Idaho Golf Course and an Idaho Drive in Bismarck N.D.!

In any case, if battleship Bismarck had survived the war and been ceded to the US like the Prinz she would have kept her name and as said before, probably ended her life at Bikini alongside the great Nagato!

If the Big E was to be preserved, what would be done with her reactors once removed?

Heaven only knows. Probably the same thing they did with the reactors from all the nuclear submarines scrapped over the last decades.

From my understanding it will be impossible to keep the Big E as a museum, for decommissioning the Navy will have to literally cut apart the ship to remove all of its reactors and their equipment.

The capitol of North Dakota is Bismarck.
