The USS New Mexico was delivered to the USN 4 months ahead of schedule even after problem were found in during construction after the sub was 99% complete.
The New Mexico was built in 70 months compared to the New Hampshire in 82 months.
To me this program seems to be one of the few current military programs that is on track. I am sure Northrop Grumman is hoping to shave eve more time off their schedule in building the submarines in the next few years.

Well, the New Hampshire was the first of the new Block III version of this Virginia class.

I notice that one of the new X Planes on the stern are visible, is it just me or is it slightly curved upwards?
