Where have they been buried?

Postby UncleMax » Sun Dec 05, 2010 3:20 pm

Hi,
I hope someone can help me. My deceased uncle was a member of the crew on the Bismarck and I would like to know where he is buried. His name is Max Reinke and he was born on 30.8.1919.

Max Reinke is listed as lost at sea aboard the Bismarck. Thus there is no specific place of burial, although the memorial to the Bismarck war dead at Friedrichsruh Germany would be about as close as you can come without actually going out to the site of the sinking.

Their shoulders held the sky suspended;
They stood and Earth's foundations stay;
What God abandoned these defended;
And saved the sum of things for pay.
