You´re right about my interest about White Star Line. My grandmother´s dad (I´m not sure how it´s called that in English) used to work for White Star Line in Argentina at the turn of the XX century. I have some photos of the liners there, at the River Plate I believe. He died more or less at the time Cunard and WSL merged.
And, yes, WSL was something like the Habsburg dynasty in shipping: they were great and tragic at the same time.
