The release of at least one of these volume has finally been announced:
The two pictorial volumes are: Schlachtschiff Bismarck – Das Original (250 illustrations) and Das Modell (450 illustrations) and they are now or will be available soon. The author is Josef Kaiser who was on the 2001 Bismarck Expedition. The model was built by him. See: http://www.museumsschiffe.de

The “museumsschiffe.de” Team has sent out an email:
Delivery date of “Schlachtschiff Bismarck - Das Original”

Translation :

"Dear friends of the Bismarck,

Unfortunately, the delivery date of the book “Schlachtschiff Bismarck - Das Original” has had multiple postponements. Until now, we were not able to post any reliable announcements for the delivery of the illustrated books, because we ourselves were depended on the information from the printer. Originally, we had a scheduled commitment for the middle of January, due to technical problems the printer could not stick to it.

Last Friday, the illustrated volumes were supposed to arrive at last. However, en route between the printer and our publishing firm, the truck had an accident. The wintery conditions have even reached us down here in the flatland. At least the books were not damaged. The firm date for release form our publishing house is set for February 4, 2005.

The illustrated volumes will be immediately sent to our customers.

We beg your pardon for the delay.

With friendly greetings from Düsseldorf

Your http://www.museumschiffe.de Team"
