Folks,

there is this book about the KGV class by Tarrant:

It has mixed reviews. However, as the KGV's are my favourites, I'm inclined to get that book. Can anybody tell if it is worth the price? I'm not the greatest BB expert - I really like the G&D books, and I also have Burt's "British Battleships 1919-1945" which I don't find convincing regarding the text, but I love it a lot because of the great pictures. If Tarrant's work is somehow comparable I'm inclined to get it.

Only just looked at your post, I think it is a very good book, I bought mine in paperback some years ago.

I haven't ordered it yet - was waiting for some comments. But I think I will get it, I just love these somehow awkward vessels with their great history.
