Convoy

WW2 B+W film, (1940) depicting the RN defeating a Nazi surface raider:

quite a good flick!

It depicts life aboard HMS Apollo, which appears to an Arethusa class CL. Look for Stewart Granger and Claude Raines.

I can't recall whether I have seen this. If this is a 1940 production I would suspect that it would be rather propagandistic......

There is a cool film with Kris Kristopherson and Ali McGraw called "Convoy"... but of truck instead of ships... Sam Peckinpah's (Iron Cross) film.
