hello all, :D

It has been a while since I have posted something here. The next photo's are of the aft superstructure.

Image

Image

on top off the hut some supports have been glued on , these supports where for the life rafts , which shows in photo 2.

Image

etched screws are glued in the manholes.

Image

Image

Image

Image

supports for the folding tables

Image

Image

with the folding tables in place .

I haven't done much on my boat lately , I have been working on my own working space (wil show photo if you ask.) Have also been working on a harbour crane , some mines and on railway wagons. The next 2 photo's are of the mines.

Image

Image

top photo is of an EMC mine on its Ankerstuhl , the lower photo is of an EMF mine , the British Navy Sailor is in scale 1/35 , this figure gives some dimension.

enjoy,

hello all,

I will post some photo's of how I build the mines.

Image

I bought myself some spheres , filled them with plasticine and laid them on my forming table.

Image

the spheres formed.

Image

the spheres removed from the mould. notice the 5 different mines I will make.

Image

the spheres carefully sanded out the form , ready to be detailed.

Image

some detail added , left the bottom plate , right bases for the horns and access plate.

Image

the 2 halves glued together , 2 lifting hooks and 1 securing hook added.

Image

from another angle , the hook will be replaced later , I was not satisfied with this result.

Image

Image

with the horns added , 5 detonator horns on top , the lower horns are not detonators. These horns will also be replaced with more detailled ones.

enjoy  ,
