I am considering using the styrene like You are in building my superstructure and Turrets. I don't know if You have seen any of Paul Soloman's work from Italy. he is building a 1/72 scale Sharnhorst at 13 feet long and uses cardboard. You wouldn't believe that it's cardboard though. a RC version of Bismark in 1/72 and Paul's work is what inspired me to build the KMS Munich in the first place, and boy am I learning lessons.

Yes i have seen some works(good works) in the Forum of modelwarships.
start from styrene is very good using a good quality glue to melt plastic
and some reinforcments.
i like metal but is more dangerous if you not protect yourself.
Most impressive! You have taken on a big beast. I have seen all your images through the threads. I think this will become your love child. Incredible craftsmanship. I can't wait to see it when its completed and ready to be sea born. Keep up your good work!
