Look at this again..... I thought this model looked more like the Hipper than Tirpitz, for one thing the stem is too short for Tirpitz....

Yes this certainly gives a better and clearer perspective, in fact the close up detail is excellent. The more distant shots do make the stem look slightly too short but this is a minor pedantic point on what is a superb piece of modelling.

Image as you have seen the details are not as fine as they could be but in the water it doesnt work too well water clings and spoils effect but my models are a working hobby. Image

I think that the water clings do have the effect of making the model sit deeper in the water than the actual ship would and this could of course make it look as if the stem isn't quite long enough.
