Yes but nothing I am at liberty to share, Steve provided me with a couple of excellent ones. Unfortunately you will have to wait until he decides to do his Scharnhorst book to see them. To be clear these were not on Gneisenau, only Scharnhorst.

And to Nimitz, you are more than welcome, I can't wait to see it finished.

Hello RF.

Sorry but, for the moment, the Scharnhorst is on stand by due to a full charge of work and an urgent demand for a profile.

As soon a spossible, i'll go on with the battleship.
Half back to finish, shadowing and 3D before adding the camo....

Minor quible, but looking at the image with its poor light montage I notice that the funnel does show up very brightly while the funnel screen above it is almost invisible. I'm wondering if the colour contrast is slightly overdone, or would this indeed be the image in such poor light? If I was the commander I wouldn't be happy with the high albedo of the funnel....

Hello all,
I am new to this site, my name is Paul and reside in Malta. at the moment I am building a 1:72nd scale model of the KMS Scharnhorst, which measures 3260mm in length. The hull is nearing completion. At the moment I am drilling out the port holes so after I will insert the brass portholes. the main problem with the brass fittings is that they all come with an outer ring, so I had to flush out the ring on the lathe. the brass fittings are all ready for installation - around 600 of them. Once in place, the rain coveron the top will have to be produced togather with hundreds of minor details and fitting which actually were present on the hull.
My friends I have a very big problem. I would like to finish the ship in Norweigen colours, as shown on the 3D pictures. Is it possible to advise the true RML code of the colours used.

Thanks for your help.

regards
