Dear forum members

your help is appreciated in identifying about the small openboat with pictures on link below

It is found in the basement of a seaside imperial palace in Istanbul.
The palace was at the end of WW1 used by occupying British between 1918-1923

It was also the place where the founder of modern Turkey Mustafa Kemal Atatürk has spent the last years of his life He died 1938 in this palace , and he liked the boats, the State yachts were anchoring infront of palace, on the Bosphorus

The high bulwark, the stern, the oars are atypical of Istanbul boats. However there are hybrid elements such as turkish tholepins, the scarf joints between keel and stem post are typical turkish. It might be built by Turkish boatbuilders from British or other North European plans

an engine seems to never been mounted. There are no davits hooks inside the boat, but the brass bow and stern horn cleats' position on the lenght axis make it thing they might have been used for lifting??

have you come across of such a boat type?
