bismark 1/200
bismark 1/200
hi wonder if any body can help with a bit of information or advice just bought the bismark model and found that there are no water line lines on the hull is this a common thing or is model wrong ?
Re: bismark 1/200
The model may be wrong, especially if it says "bismark" on the carton. Try to find a genuine Bismarck kit. You may have a grey-market counterfeit copy.

Hi,
Nothing wrong with the model - Trumpeter did not put a line on the hull to indicate the waterline or boot topping. Unfortunately the modeler has to figure out where to put it from the painting guide, which I guess might be tricky on such a large model.
All the best with your build...you've literally got a massive job on your hands!
And by the way....always remember the "c" in Bismarck....or you'll suffer the Wrath of (my good friend) Dan!
