The Tirpitz scale 1/100 project

Post by Antonio Bonomi » Wed Mar 20, 2019 6:29 pm

Hello everybody,

many years ago a Norwegian modeler started a Tirpitz 1/100 model from scratch :

I have met Trygve Lambertsen on 2004 and 2005 with my friend Even Blomkvist ( Tirpitz Museum director ) and we become friends.

On 2014 Trygve decided to ask me to finish the Tirpitz model on his behalf and give it to Even museum :

It took me some years to finish the model on scale 1/100, because I have made a dozen on Tirpitz models all periods, ... but never in such a big scale.

Now the model is ready to depart from my home in Italy and go to the Museum in KaaFjord.

Bye Antonio

Hi Antonio,

great model !
Having read all your published books on Tirpitz, I'm sure that this giant is a detailed and very precise reproduction of the ship as it was at the very time.

Ciao, Alberto
