i was wondering if anyone out there could tell me a little about a clock face that i own ,
it was passed down thru the family and now i have it its story i dont no much about all that i no about it is it is supposed to come from the bismarck ship...
any details on how to check this out would be greatly apreciated ...

It appears to be a Kieninger & Obergfell Kriegsmarine issue ship's clock. The subject recently came up here: http://forum-marinearchiv.de/smf/index. ... 933.0.html

I would contact Knirim. The "N" stands for Nordsee/North Sea.... but I doubt that there is a list of serial number. You never know until you ask.

PS: Don't apply any kind of silver polish to the dial face etc.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
