Hello, I'm posting here because I have a book listed on ebay that might go un-noticed there, as it's an unpublished manuscript. I think it may appeal to members of this forum:
1962 Unpublished Book Manuscript - OUR NAVY'S SHIPS & THEIR BUILDERS 1775-1865 by Garnett Laidlaw Eskew. 572 pages in a loose-leaf binder, no illustrations. Presumably a very rare manuscript- I only see online that a copy exists at the US Naval Academy's Nimitz Library, and no copies appear for sale or are otherwise available anywhere. This is probably your only chance to obtain a copy! This is an original period copy (not a recent photocopy), fresh from the estate of assistant author Beatrice Eisland Smith (wife of Cdr. Chester Smith).
Thanks for looking!
