Tirpitz Alta Museum

Post by Antonio Bonomi »

Ciao all,

well, it is with great pleasure that I provide you the link for the recently opened Tirpitz Museum in Alta ( Norway ).

http://www.tirpitz-museum.no/

On that museum, togheter with a very complete set of photos, documents, drawings etc, etc about Tirpitz, Scharnhorst and Lutzow , ..... X-Crafts and RAF Airplanes used to attack the Tirpitz, ........ documents about Norwegian underground agents controlling the Tirpitz, ..... you will find a very warm and friendly team of persons :D .

Last, .. you will find the whole set of my models ( 14 KM ships ) that I have donated to the museum so the posterity can see how the ships looked like on scale models.

This way many kids and persons will have a chance to see what I was always looking to find out when I was young, ... unsuccesfully.

This was the reason that started my passion for the research of the secrets of those beautiful ships that is still great.

Here a link on a website modeler site were I have posted the model photos ( Bismarck and Prinz Eugen are also available on this website model section ).

Hope you will have the time to go and visit this splendid area were the destiny decided the end of many German battleships.

Ciao Antonio :D
