Pearl Harbor Day

Post by Javier L. » Tue Dec 07, 2004 10:15 am

Today is December 7th, a day in which the American people lived in infamy 63 years ago. I think it is appropriate to remember the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor today.

I'm glad you mentioned it. It seems to me that the anniversary got little attention here, but maybe I just had an especially busy day.

Do you usually commemorate the Pearl Harbor attack across the US? or is it only at Pearl?

There is no national commemoration, but local veterans groups usually have some sort of memorial that gets covered by local news media.
