December 10th, 1941: Force Z

Post by Karl Heidenreich »

Another 65th anniversary: the brave British sailors and officers of Force Z met their destiny in the form of waves of Japanese torpedo-bombers giving to the battleship era their epilogue: Billy Mitchell was right after all, in every respect.
But lets remember them with all the naval casualties of those days, it seems that 1941 was quite important in naval terms, writing history in fire, steel and blood.
God have them resting in peace.
