USN Teacher Scale "German Navy" case, 1:500

I am selling a complete case of Comet Metal Products models: “US NAVY TEACHER MODELS – GERMAN NAVY” (Scale 1:500). The models, blue boards, and case appear to have never been repainted or repaired. They have some minor dings and bends, but their overall condition is good. For example, the soldering spots on the tripod masts have parted. Case dimensions: 37x17x4.5 in.
My personal preference is not to restore objects that are reaching antique or historical status; however, it would be very simple to make these models look like new with a can of gray spray paint. My advice is not to do this, although I might align the gun barrels better and fix the masts where needed.
The Teacher Sale models have cast superstructures and guns; the hulls are maple, and the masts are (unfortunately) steel rod.
I am including a set of photos of the models (see above link), but a CD of very high resolution photos are available also.

The are not comercially available. John Heasel made some parts but he died several years ago.
