What's going on over there RF? What's this all about?

Looting by organised gangs following an alleged police shooting in London.

These are not riots in the ordinary sense, or like the situation in Syria or Libya. These are gangs of kids wearing masks and scarves smashing shop windows, looting and then scarpering as the police arrive.

This has affected a small number of English cities where these gangs exist. They organise using social media like Facebook and mobile phones. This looting has now burn't itself out and the police have made about 2,250 arrests. Now it up to the courts.

It's not only kids I'm afraid, its teenagers and adults who are fully aware of what they are doing. In the good old Imperial British days we would have put in the Army with fixed bayonets and opened fire if they started thowing petrol bombs, that would sort these b--stds out. Now we just tell them about their human rights and ask them politely not do do it again!

Yes, unfortunately the old Riot Act and political correctness don't go together. Human Rights only apply to the criminal, never the victims of crime.

It is time to turn the Human Rights legislation on its head and make human rights only available to the criminal if that criminal fully respects the human rights of the victims of crime and all third parties affected by that crime. By definition the problem is then solved. However the European Union and our pro-EU politicians will never allow that. But ai least our courts are sending some of these criminals to prison, even though the sentences are still very lenient.

When one considers the original meaning of "outlaw" it is interesting how things have turned around.
