I have seen quite a few of these films over the years, some of them are almost as old as the WW2 itself.
Many of them need to be re-worked as the plots are out of date in the light of what we now know, and many have inaccurate sub-plots which were known to be inaccurate at the time. Some of them are covertly propagandistic and the narration emphasising this often becomes blatently patronising.

Which are worse - the British film censor or Hollywood?
