Hi again Francis,

According to the Fleet Air Arm archive, in June 1940 Ark Royal had embarked 3 squadrons of Fairey Swordfish (810, 818 and 820 squadrons totalling 30 aircraft) 1 squadron of Blackburn Skuas (800 Squadron - 12 aircraft) and 1 squadron of Fairey Fulmars (807 Squadron - 12 aircraft).

By April 1941 the Skuas had all been replaced by Fulmars.

Often several aircraft were less than serviceable, often damaged in action, but her aircraft mechanics worked tirelessly to keep as many as possible in the air.
