yes the intial information i had on the device a few years ago was that it was a multibarrel recoiless rifle . ( i was trying to find out what the strange device in a pack of late war german soldiers was ( 1/35 scale ) . i no longer build models but it was an interesting research project

at the time the bismark was built the 15 inch turrets were the only guns availabale . the next ship the h-39 was intended to have 16 inch guns . several of these were made and installed in norway as coastal defence batteries . 1 batterie is still in existence . http://www.adolfkanonen.com/ impressiv...

i belive the yanks took samples of the Yamato armour . i wish i could remember the site i visited to see it however i remember an anaylasis showed it to be the best armour ever tested . now i really ish i new the website . now as to those who ay i only visit combined fleet . ok i visit their website...

their was an escallation clause in the treaty . it is what allowed the design of the lion 1 . i am trying to find a text for the treaty or even a decent summary . can anyone send a link plse.

i was toying with the idea of giving the proposed kgv ( improved ) 4 twin 15 inch with improved elevation in new turrets . ie the old guns with better turrets . and as proposed twin 4.5 per side . this would be a good aa battery and usefull against destroyers as well . the twin 40 mm bofors i am pro...

i have to say i am interested in how many people ignore the british 4.5 inch gun . the mount designed for the cv's had a heavier shell then the 4.7 and an excellent rate of fire . personally i like the idea of introducing the gatling gun idea in 1937 ... ie fit an electric motor and show the results...
