hallo,zu erst,neues guten jahr an alle . Ich mochte hier ein thema offnen . Am 5 mai 1941 AH besuch an bismarck & tirpitz war auch Borman's ganze klink dabei , hier bildern die dass beschtedige könte.

Was this picture of Bormann taken on Bismarck or Trirpitz, do you know?

It's typical of Bormann not to miss any opportunity of being in the limelight like on that day. But he was Hitler's right-hand man after all.

I don't know enough about Bormann to comment with any authority on his knowledge of the Kriegsmarine, although he doubtless had dossiers on all the navy's top people.

That picture makes him look every inch the sinister figure he's portrayed as. It's almost as if he's coming on deck hoping to catch somebody doing something they shouldn't.

Mr. aaz57 image (167bis...) was taken on board Tirpitz during Hitler visit on May 5, 1941. Captain Topp (from back) is saluting Hitler. Keitel 'hidden' behind Hitler.
