OPERATIONAL USE OF TYPE NOS 273M AND 284M (4) IN A CRUISER

Post by dunmunro »

This is a RN training film showing the use of Type 273 and 284 for WS and GS:

https://www.iwm.org.uk/collections/item ... 1060020035

The 4 part video shows the sequence of events from initial detection to blind firing using Type 273 and/or 284. The 2nd part of the film is mislabeled and you have to pick part 4 to view it in sequence.

This video demonstrated bearing plotting, the use of ranging panels, beam switching and shows the AFCT in use.
