Dana Wynter has Died
The redoubtable and lovely Dana Wynter, who played Anne Davis in Sink the Bismarck, has just died. Did Anne Davis have a rank in the movie? The movie details that I see do not specify.

Re: Dana Wynter aka Anne Davis
She wore two 'piston rings' on her uniform sleeves which would have made her a WRNS lieutenant.
Their shoulders held the sky suspended;
They stood and Earth's foundations stay;
What God abandoned these defended;
And saved the sum of things for pay.

I agree with the above, but don't forget her role was fictional, for a film based on a book by C S Forrester....
''Give me a Ping and one Ping only'' - Sean Connery.

While her role was fictional, she played it extremely well. May she rest in eternal peace. It is hard to believe it has been 40 years since that movie was released.

I wish was only 40 years, but the movie was released in 1960 and that makes it 51 years ago.Seekanone wrote:While her role was fictional, she played it extremely well. May she rest in eternal peace. It is hard to believe it has been 40 years since that movie was released.

She was beautiful.
