Hi all, does anyone have any more information on the service history of these tugs in the second world war?

Also known as the Resolve class, they were laid down during the First World War, but not completed before its end. I’m unsure of their number, 5 but possible 6 ships,

The tugs were named as below, the little I know is
Resolve – pennant W85, maybe Portsmouth
Respond – pennant W92, based Malta, Alexandria 1943-46
Retort – pennant W84
Rollicker – pennant W00
Roysterer – pennant W91

All scrapped in the 1950’s

And possibly Rollcall, sold to commercial interests and renamed as Romsey, see
https://www.naval-history.net/WW1NavyBr ... rt.htm#334

Rollcall – renamed as Minotaure (French) captured at Bordeaux, and used in Channel Islands by the Germans
